Description

Northrop Grumman Marine Systems specializes in the development; manufacturing, assembly and testing of missile launching and handling systems, propulsion, and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines. This position supports various aspects of Underwater missile launching and handling systems. Responsibilities include: conceptual design, design trade-off studies and various technology research studies related to the Trident II and other underwater launcher programs. Candidate will be required to create: research papers, design note-books, electronic sketches, analysis and project plans/schedules. Requires BSME, with minimum 10 years of experience in the defense industry. Candidate must have excellent communication skills both orally and written and a strong academic background in materials technology, structural analysis and machine design. Must have demonstrated experience leading projects and people. Previous experience working with Navy. MUST BE A US CITIZEN with the ability to obtain a clearance MULTIPLE POSITIONS. Security Clearance Required.
