Description

Expert at design and application of magnetic bearing systems for rotating machinery. Thorough understandanding of all facets of mangetic bearing system design and manufacure including, but not limited to, electromagnetics, rotor dynamics, noncontacting sensor technologies,control architectures and signal interface management, system behavior and simulation modeling. Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communications to both technical staff and business management. Expert at design and application of magnetic bearing systems for rotating machinery. Thorough understandanding of all facets of mangetic bearing system design and manufacure including, but not limited to, electromagnetics, rotor dynamics, noncontacting sensor technologies,control architectures and signal interface management, system behavior and simulation modeling. Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communications to both technical staff and business management. BSEE/BSME minimum, MS preferred, 10-15 years direct experience in the field of mangetic bearing systems, US citizen capable of obtaining a Secret clearance, proficient at use of Microsoft Office products, electromagnetic analysis codes, system modeling and simulation tools. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
